Obedience

We had a suggestion that we might review some inspired statements regarding the goal of obedience. How obedient does God intend to make us?: Are there levels of obedience? Or is obedience like "round", either we are or we're not?

This is the will of God, your sanctification (1 Thess 4:3)

To Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy (Jude 24)

Beloved, now we are children of God'; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifieth himself, just as He is pure (1 John 3:2, 3)

Whoever abides in Him does not sin (1 John 3:6).

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, 'I know Him' and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we now that we are in Him (1 John 2:3-5).

If you love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15

If you keep my commandments, you will abide in My love, just I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love (John 15:10).
